About the Opportunity:
This Dental Hygienist position involves providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while working in a team-based environment. The role entails collaborating with the dentist to meet the oral health needs of patients, managing a variety of clinical duties that range in complexity and skill, and demonstrating exceptional customer service skills. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $41.25 to $48.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct guided biofilm therapy (GBT) equipment operation as required.
- Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with state-approved guidelines.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants, and remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line.
- Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Uphold office policies, including HIPAA & OSHA.
- Order and keep track of inventory as needed.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- Dental Hygienist License and X-Ray Certifications.
- One year of hands-on experience as a hygienist.
- GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
