About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position for a Dental Hygienist at our Fairfax location focuses on working together with the dentist to meet the oral health needs of patients. The role involves providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. It includes handling a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations, ranging in complexity and skill, requiring exceptional customer service skills and a strong commitment to collaboration with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and other dental office team members.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $44.00 to $52.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operations as required.
- Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and care, adhering to state-approved guidelines.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants, and remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line.
- Provide nutritional counseling and develop self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Uphold office policy, including adherence to HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
- Order and manage inventory as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Dental Hygienist License and X-Ray Certifications.
- One year of hands-on experience as a hygienist.
- Experience operating GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
