About the Opportunity:
The Dental Hygienist works together with the dentist to meet the oral health needs of the patient. The role provides a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment, handling a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $46.75 to $55.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation.
- Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with state guidelines.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants; remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line.
- Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Uphold office policy including HIPAA & OSHA.
- Order and keep track of inventory as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- One (1) year of hands-on experience as a hygienist.
- Hold a current state issued Dental Hygiene license.
- CPR certification.
- X-ray training or certification.
- GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
