About the Opportunity:
As a Dental Hygienist, work with the dentist to meet the oral health needs of patients. Provide high levels of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Handle a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations, requiring exceptional customer service skills and a strong commitment to working well with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and other dental office team members. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $44.00 to $52.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.
- Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and education according to state-approved guidelines.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants; remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line.
- Conduct nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Uphold office policy including HIPAA & OSHA regulations.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Order and track inventory as needed.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- Dental Hygienist License and X-Ray Certifications.
- One year of hands-on experience as a hygienist.
- Experience in GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
