About the Opportunity:
Join a dedicated team as a Dental Hygienist in a part-time contract position, providing essential oral health services to patients. Collaborate with dentists to deliver high-quality patient care and satisfaction in a team-based environment. Fulfill various clinical duties to support dental office operations, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and commitment to working effectively with patients, dentists, dental assistants, and office staff.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $57.75 to $68.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment as required.
- Provide oral hygiene treatment, care, and education in line with state guidelines.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants.
- Remove calculus, stain, and plaque from above and below the gum line.
- Deliver nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Uphold office policies, including HIPAA & OSHA guidelines.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Order and manage inventory as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- Dental Hygienist License.
- X-Ray Certifications.
- One year of hands-on experience as a hygienist.
- GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Anesthesia Certifications preferred.
