About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position supports dentists in meeting patients' oral health needs while providing exemplary care and satisfaction. The role operates within a team-based environment, requiring handling of various clinical duties crucial for dental office operations. An exceptional level of customer service skills and a commitment to collaboration with patients, doctors, dental assistants, and team members are essential.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $55.00 to $65.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment as needed.
- Provide oral hygiene treatment and education in compliance with state guidelines.
- Apply fluoride and protective sealants, and remove calculus, stain, and plaque.
- Conduct nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
- Record and review patient medical histories.
- Uphold office policy, including HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
- Order and manage inventory as necessary.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing varied results as needed.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.
- Current state-issued Dental Hygiene license.
- CPR certification.
- X-ray training or certification.
- Minimum of one year of hands-on experience as a dental hygienist.
- Experience with GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
