About the Opportunity:
Provide anesthetic care for adult patients within a care team model. This full-time contract position involves working four 10-hour shifts per week, either Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday. Collaborate with a team of 18 CRNAs and 5 anesthesiologists to manage an average of 30 cases per day, ensuring safe and effective anesthesia management. Utilize the Epic EMR system for documentation.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $179.85 to $212.55 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and create care plans.
- Provide general adult anesthesia, manage obstetrical cases, and address pain management needs.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient responses to anesthesia, ensuring safety and efficacy.
- Stay informed on best practices in anesthesia and acute volume/BP management.
Job Requirements:
- Certification by NBCRNA.
- Active South Carolina state license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in general adult anesthesia settings.
- Skills in ventilation management and supervision of CRNAs.
