About the Opportunity:
The Nurse Anesthetist, CRNA, provides anesthesia care in a variety of clinical settings. Responsibilities include administering anesthetics to patients undergoing surgical and non-surgical procedures, with a focus on general anesthesia, spines, and ventilation management. This role involves arterial line placement and the evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues. The position covers mostly ortho, spines, gyn, eyes, plastics, and general OR cases, as well as out-of-OR cases like GI, CV/TEE, and MRI coverage. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $179.85 to $212.55 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and create comprehensive anesthesia care plans.
- Administer and monitor anesthesia to patients aged 12 years and older.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and document patient progress during and after procedures.
- Stay informed on the latest anesthesia practices and research developments.
Job Requirements:
- NBCRNA certification.
- Active South Carolina license.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required through AHA.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CRNA.
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred.
- Clean background only.
