About the Opportunity:
The Nurse Anesthetist, CRNA Float Pool position involves providing anesthetic care to patients of all ages in a hospital setting. This role includes practicing in various operating rooms such as general, ortho, gyn, ent/eyes, vascular, thoracic, heart, neuro, trauma, and at NORA locations. This is a full-time contract position requiring flexibility with shifts, particularly on Mondays and Fridays.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $154.00 to $182.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) finalize at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and administering anesthesia.
- Providing anesthetic care across a range of surgeries.
- Collaborating with the surgical team to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient status throughout procedures.
- Staying informed on developments in anesthesiology practices.
Job Requirements:
- CRNA board certification.
- Valid North Carolina state license.
- 1-2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
- ACLS & PALS certification required.
- Skills preferred in cardiac/vascular, neuro, and pediatric anesthesia.
