About the Opportunity:
This contract position offers an exciting opportunity for a Physician specializing in neurology. The role involves providing comprehensive care to general neurology and headache patients in an outpatient setting. Physicians see approximately 23 adult patients per day, offering expertise in areas like EMG, EEG, and managing an infusion center. Support is provided by a team of 5 RNs and 5 MAs. The position does not require call duties and offers a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $220.00 to $260.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough neurological assessments and developing tailored care plans.
- Providing both in-person and telehealth services for neurology and headache management.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including RNs and MAs, to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress using EMR systems like Epic.
- Staying informed on advancements in neurology and headache management.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification in Neurology.
- Active South Carolina state license or obtaining one within specified timeframe.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-training experience in neurology.
- Clean medical practice history is required.
