About the Opportunity:
A Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in the Float Pool provides critical anesthetic care to patients in a dynamic hospital setting. This full-time contract position requires flexibility to provide coverage across various departments, ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical and diagnostic procedures. The role involves administering anesthesia, monitoring patient responses, and adjusting anesthetics as necessary.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $154.00 to $182.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic levels accordingly.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate records of patient anesthesia care and progress.
- Stay informed on advancements in anesthesia care and safety protocols.
Job Requirements:
- Current Board Certification as a CRNA.
- State of North Carolina licensure required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience; no new graduates.
- Certification in ACLS & PALS.
- Preferred skills in cardiac, vascular, neuro, and pediatric anesthesia.
