About the Opportunity:
The position involves the provision of comprehensive gastroenterology care to adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The physician conducts patient rounds, consults, and performs gastroenterology procedures, including ERCP. This full-time contract position requires 24-hour call coverage, with responsibilities divided between clinical work and night beeper call.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $3500.75 to $4137.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for gastroenterology patients.
- Perform gastroenterology procedures such as ERCP and EUS.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress in EPIC EMR system.
- Stay informed on current practices and research in gastroenterology.
Job Requirements:
- Board certified in Gastroenterology.
- Possess ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in gastroenterology settings.
- EPIC EMR experience preferred, Provation GI software experience preferred.
- Provide documentation of gastroenterology service provision within the last 24 months.
