About the Opportunity:
This is a part-time contract position for a Physician providing specialized gastroenterology services to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include conducting consultations, performing gastroenterology procedures such as ERCP, and coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team. The role involves managing a diverse patient demographic primarily consisting of adults aged 18 and above.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $3239.50 to $3828.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and creating personalized care plans.
- Performing ERCP and other gastroenterology procedures.
- Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Managing both inpatient and outpatient consultations and procedures.
- Ensuring documentation of patient progress and care activities.
Job Requirements:
- Board-certified in Gastroenterology, ACLS certified.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in providing gastroenterology services.
- Proven track record of performing ERCP procedures with documentation of at least 50 successful ERCPs in the past 2 years.
- Preferred experience with EPIC EMR and Provation GI software.
