About the Opportunity:
This position presents a unique opportunity for a physician to provide comprehensive gastroenterology services within a dual setting of both inpatient and outpatient care. The role involves conducting consultations, performing gastroenterology procedures, and engaging in both inpatient rounds and outpatient clinic tasks. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $3078.57 to $3638.31 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for adult patients.
- Provide advanced gastroenterology procedures, including ERCP.
- Collaborate with other physicians, including GI specialists, to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress using EPIC EMR and Provation GI software.
- Engage in research and stay informed on the latest gastroenterology practices.
Job Requirements:
- Board certification in Gastroenterology with current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Minimum of two years' experience in gastroenterology, specifically with ERCP procedures.
- Documentation of at least 50 successful ERCP procedures within the past two years.
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR preferred.
- Washington state medical license or eligibility for IMLC.
