About the Opportunity:
This position involves providing advanced vascular neurology care, including stroke thrombectomy, carotid stenting, diagnostic cerebral angiography, endovascular aneurysm repair, intracranial stenting, and embolization procedures. The role requires collaboration with hospitalists and other specialty disciplines to deliver neurology consultations. It is a full-time contract position with 24-hour unrestricted call coverage and responsibilities include patient follow-up and rounding the following morning if necessary.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $1828.75 to $2161.25 per day. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct neurology assessments and create comprehensive care plans.
- Provide specialized endovascular treatment and education to patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress using EPIC EMR.
- Stay informed on advancements in vascular neurology practices.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification in Neurology required.
- ACLS certification required.
- Experience and case logs for 200 endovascular surgical neuroradiology treatments in the last 24 months.
- Proven proficiency in EPIC EMR system.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
