About the Opportunity:
This contract position requires a skilled Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology to provide comprehensive care to adult women in a hospital setting. The role involves conducting deliveries, performing D&Cs, C-sections, and other inpatient OBGYN procedures. The position is full-time and aims to cover a gap in call coverage by requiring 3-4 24-hour shifts a month. Providers engage in rounding and admissions while working in collaboration with other OBGYN professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $2640.00 to $3120.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct deliveries including Cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries.
- Perform D&C and other necessary inpatient OBGYN procedures.
- Collaborate with hospitalists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes effectively.
Job Requirements:
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Documented clinical activity in the last 24 months, including at least 15 C-sections, 30 vaginal deliveries, and 50 gynecology patient cases.
- Current Washington State medical license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC.
- Experience with EPIC EMR system.
