About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position requires providing obstetric and gynecological care to a diverse patient population. Physicians engage in various responsibilities, including handling clinic duties and taking on-call shifts. While on call, the expectation is to manage triage and perform emergency surgeries if necessary. When scheduled for clinic, physicians see 15-18 patients per day, focusing mainly on obstetrics. The team includes registered nurses, medical assistants, and licensed practical nurses to support patient care in clinic and hospital settings. The position accommodates a flexible work schedule, including clinic and call shifts as preferred.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $182.88 to $216.13 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct obstetric and gynecological assessments and develop care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Provide prenatal and postpartum care education and therapy.
- Collaborate with midwives and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Stay informed on the latest research and practices in obstetrics and gynecology.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Demonstrated ability to perform TOLAC (Trial of Labor After C-section).
- Active MN license and DEA registration required.
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS necessary; AHA accepted.
