About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Clinic involves providing care in the field of oncology with a focus on solid tumor patients. Professionals in this role conduct patient assessments, create and execute care plans, and provide patient and family education in managing their conditions. The position requires the ability to float to other facilities within the network.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for oncology patients.
- Provide therapy and education to patients and families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy and social services.
- Monitor and document patient progress using Epic charting system.
- Stay informed on oncology research and practices.
Job Requirements:
- Current CA RN License.
- AHA BLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in MS Oncology (solid tumor).
- Ability to float to other UCSF Facilities.
- OCN certification and infusion center experience preferred.
- Charting system experience required, specifically Epic.
