About the Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the Med Surg Tele unit where you provide high-quality care to patients. The position requires experience and comfort in floating to various units including Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, ED, and Pediatric. You must possess a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and an ability to assess patient needs, provide quality care, and address clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $48.85 to $57.73 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized care plans for patients.
- Provide care across various units including Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, ED, and Pediatric.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Monitor and document patient progress consistently.
- Utilize strong leadership skills to prioritize and delegate tasks as necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Must hold a current NY nursing license.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Minimum of one previous successful travel assignment.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MEDITECH charting preferred.
