About the Opportunity:
Engage in an exciting opportunity as a Physician, OB, at a hospital location. This role involves conducting deliveries and addressing inpatient OBGYN procedures such as D&C and C-sections. As part of a collaborative team of OBGYN providers, participate in both rounding and admissions. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for this position is $2612.50 to $3087.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for patients requiring deliveries and other OBGYN procedures.
- Perform inpatient OBGYN procedures such as D&C and C-sections.
- Collaborate with hospitalists to coordinate care, including responding to occasional calls from the ED.
- Monitor and document patient progress during hospital shifts.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on developments in OBGYN practice and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Hold a WA License due to turnaround time for credentialing.
- Possess a BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Provide documentation of clinical services rendered in the past 24 months, including 100 patient consultations with at least 15 Cesarean sections and 30 vaginal deliveries.
- Demonstrate clinical activity with 50 gynecology patients representative of the scope of requested privileges.
- Experience with Epic EMR system required.
