About the Opportunity:
Provide family medicine primary care services, focusing on assessing newborns in the hospital immediately after birth. This is a full-time contract position, engaging in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Care is provided exclusively to newborns in clinic and hospital environments.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $111.29 to $131.53 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct newborn assessments in a hospital setting.
- Provide pediatric support as required, excluding obstetric care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and document progress in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
- Stay informed on developments in family medicine practice.
Job Requirements:
- Active MD/DO license in Oregon.
- Relevant certifications: BLS, NRP from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Documentation of family medicine services in the last 24 months.
- 1 year of EPIC EMR experience essential.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar settings.
