About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position requires a Mammo Tech to provide top-notch mammography services to adult and geriatric patients. The role involves performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, wire/seed localization, stereotactic biopsies, and DEXAs in a high-volume mammography department. Operating with efficiency and precision, the technologist aids in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with additional Saturday shifts from 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $55.00 to $65.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting SCR and diagnostic mammograms.
- Providing mammography services including wire/seed locs and stereotactic biopsies.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress effectively in the Epic charting system.
- Staying informed on the latest mammography practices and compliance requirements.
Job Requirements:
- ARRT(R), BLS, and ARRT(M) certifications.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with adults and geriatrics in outpatient settings.
- Experience with 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, and digital mammography.
- Proficiency in the Epic charting system.
- Preferred experience in community hospital settings.
- High level of skill in diagnostic imaging and time management.
