About the Opportunity:
Customer Service Specialists provide essential support by answering calls from Florida high school and college students concerning scholarships and grants. This is a full-time contract position that operates 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $16.67 to $19.70 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Answering calls and providing information on Florida scholarships and grants.
- Assisting students with inquiries and concerns.
- Maintaining accurate records of interactions.
- Communicating effectively with students and colleagues.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent.
- Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
- Comfortable using computers.
- Experience with customer support preferred.
- Must pass a level 2 screening background check, including fingerprinting for statewide, federal, and local criminal records checks.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional work environment.
