About the Opportunity:
This full-time contract position as a Compliance Officer primarily involves addressing complaints related to condominiums, timeshares, and mobile homes. The role requires contacting constituents and complainants, analyzing issues by consulting state statutes, and facilitating communication with the public. The role also includes advising complainants about the Division's jurisdiction, sending approved written correspondence, closing cases, and documenting actions using the OnBase system.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $38.14 to $38.14 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Contact constituents and complainants to discuss detailed complaints filed.
- Analyze issues by reading and comparing state statutes with complaints.
- Advise complainants of the Division's jurisdiction and reasons for case closure.
- Provide appropriate resources or referrals.
- Send written correspondence to complainants upon supervisor approval.
- Close cases by adding necessary codes/activities/statutes in Versa.
- Document actions in the OnBase system.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the public.
- Ability to read and interpret Florida statutes with at least 1 year of experience.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a professional public work environment.
- 1 year of experience analyzing complaints with the public.
- Experience using Versa (highly desired).
- Experience using the OnBase system (highly desired).
- Bachelor's degree (highly desired).
