About the Opportunity:
Customer Service Specialists provide assistance by answering calls from Florida high school and college students concerning Florida scholarships and grants. This full-time contract position requires working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $16.67 to $19.70 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Answering inquiries from students regarding scholarships and grants.
- Providing clear information and assistance over the phone.
- Documenting call details and maintaining accurate records.
- Staying informed about scholarship and grant processes.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure consistent communication.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma, general education degree, or equivalent.
- Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
- Comfortable using computers.
- Experience working with customer support is a plus.
- Applicants must pass a level 2 screening background check.
