About the Opportunity:
This part-time contract position focuses on providing specialized care in the Cath Lab to patients on weekends, specifically on Saturday and Sunday. The role requires handling diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures with a focus on pediatric patients, but adult Cath Lab and IR experience are also acceptable with some pediatric experience.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $63.25 to $74.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for patients in the Cath Lab.
- Provide procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress during and after procedures.
- Stay informed on best practices in cardiac catheterization and pediatric care.
Job Requirements:
- ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications.
- BSN degree required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
- Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
- Strong skills in cardiac catheterization and procedural sedation.
