About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab, providing specialized care to pediatric patients. This part-time contract position requires weekend coverage only, specifically on Saturday and Sunday. Candidates with Cath lab experience and some pediatric experience are prioritized, though we accept those with adult Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology experience. Scheduling options include working two 12-hour shifts or two 10-hour shifts.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $63.25 to $74.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for Cath Lab patients.
- Provide specialized care in the realm of pediatric cardiac cath lab services.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately and efficiently.
- Stay informed on the latest research and practices relevant to Cath Lab techniques and pediatric care.
Job Requirements:
- Active NY RN License upon submission.
- Experience in Cath Lab settings, preferably with pediatric experience.
- American Heart Association (AHA) certifications accepted only.
- EPIC charting experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
