About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab Electrophysiology (EP) department. The role focuses on assisting Electrophysiology Physicians in performing Electrophysiology procedures. Responsibilities include providing nursing care for patients during device implants, ablation procedures, and cardioversions. Secondary duties include assistance in Cardiac Catheterization. The estimated base pay for these positions are $65.45 to $77.35 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing Electrophysiology procedures.
- Provide nursing care during device implants (pacemaker, ICD, ICM), ablations, and cardioversions.
- Support with Cardiac Catheterization procedures.
- Collaborate with Electrophysiology Physicians to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress.
Job Requirements:
- Active PA or compact nursing license.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Minimum experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- PA Fingerprints are required.
