About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time contract position for a Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab, providing specialized care and services to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. The role includes assessing patients, assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization procedures, and closely monitoring patient vitals and responses to treatment. The position requires a blend of technical skills and compassionate patient care, ensuring that all procedures adhere to the highest standards of safety and effectiveness.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $57.75 to $68.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization.
- Provide support during diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization procedures.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress, including response to procedures and any complications.
- Stay informed on the latest research and practices in cardiac catheterization and related fields.
Job Requirements:
- California RN License.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience.
- 3-5 years of combined experience in PACU, ICU, CCU, and/or Cath Lab.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization, EP procedures and techniques.
- Experience with Epic charting system.
- Prior travel experience within the last 12 months required.
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster required, with medical/religious exemptions only.
