About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This role provides specialized care to patients with serious health conditions that require close monitoring and advanced medical interventions. This is a full-time contract position with a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend and holiday, and floating to Hampden as needed. The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments and creating individualized care plans.
- Providing critical care interventions and monitoring patient responses.
- Collaborating with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and vital statistics.
- Staying informed on current best practices and advancements in critical care nursing.
Job Requirements:
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- PA or Compact nursing license and completion of required fingerprints.
- Minimum experience in ICU/PCU/Tele settings preferred.
