About the Opportunity:
This contract role involves providing advanced critical care in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) within a hospital setting. The position requires expertise in managing cardiovascular and intensive care cases. Acts as a key member of the healthcare team, working full-time, with shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend rotations and potential floats to Hampden Medical Center.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $56.65 to $66.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and create effective care plans.
- Provide specialized cardiovascular and intensive care therapies.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately.
- Stay informed on the latest research and practices in critical care.
Job Requirements:
- Active PA or Compact RN license and fingerprints required to start.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications.
- Experience in critical care settings, particularly with cardiovascular cases.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
