About the Opportunity:
This role involves providing compassionate care to patients in a long-term care setting. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are integral to the healthcare team, delivering individualized support and assistance with daily activities to improve patient well-being. This is a full-time contract position that requires attendance every other weekend and the flexibility to float across all units within the same building.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $23.14 to $27.35 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and creating care plans for patient needs.
- Providing assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Collaborating with nursing and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and care provided.
- Staying informed on best practices in long-term care and patient support.
Job Requirements:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a long-term care or similar setting.
- Experience working in MS, ortho, dementia, or memory care populations preferred.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records, specifically PointClick Care.
- Possession of a current New York CNA license.
- Successful completion of required fingerprinting.
