About the Opportunity:
The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room provides advanced nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This is a full-time contract position, focusing on a range of surgical operations within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $56.65 to $66.95 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative assessments and creating care plans.
- Providing surgical assistance and patient education before and after surgery.
- Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress during all phases of surgery.
- Staying informed on the latest practices in surgical nursing and technology.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant certifications or degrees in Nursing.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in operating room settings preferred.
- Experience with Level 1 Trauma is preferred.
- Experience in Ortho and Neuro areas is advantageous.
- DaVinci robotics experience is a plus.
- Ability to scrub and circulate adds value.
- Strong communication and organizational skills required.
