About the Opportunity:
This contract Registered Nurse position in an outpatient clinic provides valuable care to patients at the Wayne and Gladys Valley Center for Vision in San Francisco, CA. This full-time role involves utilizing established nursing procedures, collaborating with healthcare staff, and caring for both adult and pediatric patients in an ambulatory setting.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $55.00 to $65.00 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and creating tailored care plans.
- Providing education and therapy relevant to outpatient and ambulatory care.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Monitoring, documenting, and reporting on patient progress and outcomes.
- Staying informed on best practices and current research in ambulatory nursing.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License Required.
- BSN in Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1-2 years of experience in an ambulatory clinic setting.
- Experience with Epic charting system.
- Chemo (ONS/ONCC) and Pediatrics experience preferred.
- COVID-19 Vaccine + Booster required, with exemptions for medical/religious reasons only.
