About the Opportunity:
The Pediatric Infusion Center at Golisano Children's Hospital provides essential care and support for various pediatric specialty services. As a Pediatric Registered Nurse, you conduct infusions and procedural care, including chemotherapy, monoclonal antibody administration, blood product administration, enzyme replacement therapy, and gene therapy. This is a full-time contract position, requiring a high level of expertise in prioritization, communication, IV skills, and experience with IVADs/Ports. Flexibility in adapting to the changing needs of the Pediatric Infusion Center is crucial.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for pediatric patients.
- Administer chemotherapy, monoclonal antibodies, and blood products.
- Provide enzyme replacement therapy and gene therapy.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitor and document patient progress.
Job Requirements:
- RN License (NY License Only).
- Two (2) Years Experience in Pediatrics.
- BLS certification.
- PEARS certification.
- APHON certification.
