About the Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity exists in the cardiac cath lab providing dynamic pre and post-procedure care as well as PACU recovery. This fast-paced, expanding field includes treatment of patients with vascular, electrical conduction, coronary diseases, and structural heart diagnoses. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care and procedural support in acute and non-acute situations. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $50.60 to $59.80 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and creating care plans for cardiac patients.
- Providing direct patient care and procedural support.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress.
- Staying informed on the latest practices in cardiac care.
Job Requirements:
- RN License (NY License ONLY).
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Recent experience in CVICU/Cardiac Care or PACU required; cath lab experience preferred.
- Telemetry skills required.
