About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Patient Services Representative in Marietta, OH, providing exceptional customer service and patient care in a team-based dental care environment. This part-time contract position focuses on offering comprehensive, personalized care that prioritizes patient comfort and advanced treatments for optimal oral health. Support staff members and patients through duties such as answering phones, handling inquiries, making appointments, and assisting with financial arrangements.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $13.75 to $16.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge, smile, and greet patients upon arrival and dismissal.
- Respond to patient questions and concerns according to policies.
- Answer telephones.
- Schedule and maintain appointments.
- Confirm appointments and follow up on no-shows or cancellations.
- Register patients on the sign-in sheet.
- Post charges and payments to patient accounts.
- Check voicemail daily.
- Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience answering telephones.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Preferred experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare office.
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) preferred.
