About the Opportunity:
As an Occupational Therapist in Therapy Rehab Outpatient, you provide specialized care to patients recovering from hand and upper extremity injuries. You develop rigorous therapy plans that incorporate a range of manual and therapeutic exercises to optimize patient recovery. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.80 to $62.40 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create personalized care plans.
- Provide therapy and education for hand and upper extremity injuries.
- Collaborate with a range of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document patient progress during the course of treatment.
- Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in hand therapy and rehabilitation.
Job Requirements:
- Possession of a CA OT License.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- 3 years of experience in hand clinic and adult outpatient settings preferred.
- Preferred certifications include CHT and AOTA Hand/UE certification.
- Proven skills in using Epic charting system.
