About the Opportunity:
The Occupational Therapist opportunity involves directing all aspects of quality patient care, including evaluation, treatment, treatment planning, goal setting, family education, and documentation according to professional standards and community needs. This full-time contract position operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $46.75 to $55.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) are finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Provide occupational therapy interventions and educate patients and their families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Stay informed on current occupational therapy practices and research.
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Active NYS Occupational Therapy license.
- At least 1 year of experience as a licensed OT, preferably in acute inpatient care.
- Proven success in providing extraordinary care in a team setting.
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills.
