About the Opportunity:
This Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position involves providing therapeutic services and rehabilitation care to patients. This is a full-time contract position. PTAs administer therapy to improve patient mobility, function, and strength through specific treatment interventions.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $26.40 to $31.20 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical therapy sessions as directed by a licensed physical therapist.
- Provide instruction to patients and their families on exercises and therapeutic regimens.
- Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans.
- Monitor, document, and report on patient progress and response to treatment.
- Stay informed on best practices and advancements in physical therapy and rehabilitation.
Job Requirements:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
