About the Opportunity:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), provide care to patients, helping them with exercises and therapy designed by a physical therapist. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $35.75 to $42.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct specific assessments and assist in creating care plans.
- Provide various types of therapy under the direction of a physical therapist.
- Collaborate with physical therapists to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress systematically.
- Stay informed on the latest research and practices in physical therapy.
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Valid state licensure for a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
