About the Opportunity:
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position provides speech therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF). This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $36.30 to $42.90 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create individualized care plans for patients with communication or swallowing disorders.
- Provide therapy sessions focused on speech, language, and swallowing improvement.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Stay informed on current research and practices in speech-language pathology.
Job Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
