About the Opportunity:
The position for an Ultrasound Tech Vascular involves providing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, primarily for patients with peripheral vascular disease. This part-time contract position entails working closely within a multidisciplinary clinic that includes podiatry, vascular surgery, and wound care services.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $49.50 to $58.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting vascular ultrasound assessments and providing diagnostic imaging services.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals such as podiatrists and vascular surgeons to coordinate patient care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient information and progress.
- Staying informed on advancements in peripheral vascular disease care and diagnostic techniques.
Job Requirements:
- One RDMS registry in Abdomen or OB/GYN, RVT certification and BLS required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an ultrasound technician.
- Experience with a range of ultrasound equipment including GE, Philips, and Siemens.
- Skills in Doppler Studies, Duplex, and Lower Extremity Arterial/Venous assessments.
- Preferred experience in community hospital settings.
