About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established pediatric outpatient clinic serving families across Brooklyn and Staten Island, is seeking a dedicated and bilingual (Mandarin-speaking) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their pediatric care team in Brooklyn.. The team is committed to providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care to children and adolescents, with a strong focus on community engagement and preventive health. This role offers a supportive environment for both experienced providers and new graduates, with comprehensive training available.
The annual base salary range is $100,000 to $140,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Deliver age-appropriate care and health education to patients and families
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record system
- Participate in the development of patient education materials and wellness initiatives
- Communicate effectively with the supervising physician regarding patient care and clinical decisions
Job Requirements
- Licensed NP (FNP or PNP) or PA in the State of New York
- Bilingual in Mandarin required
- Pediatric experience preferred but not required—new graduates are welcome
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
