HRIS Specialist

About the Opportunity

Our client in New York City is seeking a skilled and analytical HRIS Specialist to join their dynamic human resources function. This person will be instrumental in supporting and enhancing the firm’s HR technology landscape, ensuring systems are running efficiently and delivering meaningful insights that support both daily operations and broader business objectives.

The HRIS Specialist will act as the central resource for the firm’s HR platforms with responsibility for system administration, data accuracy, reporting, and end-user support. This role will partner closely with HR, Finance, and IT to optimize workflows, support system upgrades and integrations, and strengthen reporting capabilities through the development of dashboards and automated reports. The ideal candidate will also help troubleshoot system-related issues, coordinate with external vendors when needed, and proactively identify ways to enhance processes, improve efficiency, and elevate the overall effectiveness of HR operations. This position follows a hybrid schedule.

The annual base salary range is $85,000 to $100,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR systems, including ADP Workforce Now, HiBob, and Cornerstone LMS
  • Own day-to-day system administration, ensuring data integrity, system functionality, and user support
  • Build, maintain, and automate HR reports and dashboards to support business decisions
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and IT to streamline processes and improve system workflows
  • Lead system enhancements, updates, and integrations across platforms
  • Troubleshoot system issues and manage vendor relationships as needed
  • Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement across HR operations and reporting processes

 

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in HRIS, including automation, and reporting
  • Strong proficiency with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now, HiBob, Cornerstone LMS)
  • Strong reporting and analytics skills, including experience building reports and dashboards
  • Bachelors degree strongly preferred
