About the Opportunity:
This MRI Tech position involves providing specialized imaging services to patients. This is a full-time contract position. The role includes obtaining specialized MRI exams with precision, maintaining patient safety, and managing imaging equipment. Effective communication with patients to ensure clear instructions and reassurance during procedures is crucial. Ensures adherence to safety and quality protocols.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $0.55 to $0.65 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct MRI assessments and create detailed imaging reports.
- Ensure accurate imaging techniques in collaboration with the radiology team.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient conditions and reactions during MRI procedures.
- Stay informed on advancements in MRI technology and techniques.
Job Requirements:
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in MR.
- Current BLS certification.
- One year of MRI experience.
- Possess knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Maintains all registries and licenses required by state and federal law.
- New York license required.
