About the Opportunity:
Join our team as a Psych Registered Nurse in our Pediatric Behavioral Health unit, providing care to pediatric and adolescent patients aged 5 to 21 years with conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and behavioral crises. This full-time contract position requires expertise in assessments, triage, medication support, crisis intervention, and patient/family education in an outpatient setting.
The estimated base pay for these positions is $38.50 to $45.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and creating care plans.
- Providing crisis intervention and patient/family education.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress in the EMR system.
- Staying informed on current behavioral health practices and interventions.
Job Requirements:
- Active RN license.
- Experience in pediatrics and/or psychiatric settings preferred.
- Strong de-escalation skills.
- Proficient in using Epic EMR.
