About the Opportunity:
We seek a Physician Assistant to join our Medical Oncology/Hematology team in an outpatient setting. This full-time contract position involves providing specialized care to adult patients, with an average daily patient load of 14-15. The role includes the responsibility of rounding and working closely 1:1 with a Medical Oncologist.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $98.23 to $116.09 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and participating in patient care planning.
- Collaborating with medical oncologists to coordinate specialized cancer care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress within the clinic setting.
- Staying informed on the latest oncology and hematology research and practices.
Job Requirements:
- Active Physician Assistant license in the State of Washington.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Proficient user of EPIC electronic medical records.
- Documentation of hematology/medical oncology services provided in the last 24 months, unless training completed in the previous year.
