About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time clinic position providing specialized care in an outpatient oncology setting. This role includes responsibilities such as administering chemotherapy, developing patient care plans, and educating patients and families about their treatment. The position requires the ability to float to other facilities within the network. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $52.25 to $61.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and create personalized care plans in an outpatient BMT clinic.
- Provide chemotherapy administration and related patient education.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adapting care plans as necessary.
- Stay informed on advancements in bone marrow transplant and oncology research.
Job Requirements:
- CA RN License and BSN degree.
- Certification in AHA BLS and ONS/ONCC Chemo.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in BMT, outpatient oncology, and outpatient HEM/BMT clinic settings.
- Experience in a teaching hospital environment required.
