About the Opportunity:
This position involves providing comprehensive gastroenterological care at a Level IV trauma center. The role includes performing a range of general and advanced GI procedures, with a focus on Endoscopy (Endo), Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS). Physicians work two to three weeks per month, aligning clinic and call coverage shifts. This is a full-time contract position.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $343.75 to $406.25 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct endoscopy center procedures, managing 12-20 cases per day.
- Provide GI care based on clinic volumes, typically handling 10-12 patients daily.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within the hospital setting.
- Monitor and document patient progress in Cerner EMR.
- Utilize specialized skills in ERCP and EUS.
Job Requirements:
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology required.
- State medical license required; IMLC candidates considered.
- DEA, BLS, and ACLS certifications required.
- Experience with general and advanced GI procedures preferred.
