About the Opportunity:
Join our team as an Orthopaedic Technician, providing expert orthopaedic services to patients in a dynamic healthcare setting. This full-time contract position offers regular hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekend or on-call requirements.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $41.25 to $48.75 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting casting and fitting assessments for patients.
- Providing cast application and removal services, such as short arm and leg casts.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate care in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and ensuring precise cast fitting.
- Staying informed on orthopaedic casting techniques and practices.
Job Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in orthopaedic settings.
- Preferred certification as an Orthopaedic Technician.
- Strong skills in cast fitting and removal, along with suture removal.
