About the Opportunity:
This opportunity in Bellingham, WA, involves providing gastroenterology services to patients in both hospital and clinic settings. The role includes conducting rounds, admitting patients, and performing procedures. This is a full-time contract position, contributing vital care to an approximate daily census of 4 patients in the morning when on call from Monday to Friday.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $337.01 to $398.29 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and create care plans for gastroenterology patients.
- Provide gastroenterology consultation and education to patients.
- Collaborate with other gastroenterologists and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes in the EPIC charting system.
Job Requirements:
- MD/DO in gastroenterology with appropriate licensure (may consider candidates obtaining a license prior to start).
- Board certification as required by MSO.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in relevant settings.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
- COVID-19 Vaccine is required with no exemptions allowed.
