About the Opportunity:
This LPN/LVN contract position involves providing essential care to pediatric patients at an outpatient clinic. Responsibilities include patient triage, medication reconciliation, and assisting in minor procedures. This is a full-time contract role.
The estimated base pay for these positions are $31.90 to $37.70 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments and creating care plans.
- Providing phlebotomy services and clean catch urine instructions.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress, including vital signs.
- Staying informed on pediatric care best practices.
Job Requirements:
- HS diploma/GED required.
- Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Current NYS license & registration as LPN.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in outpatient clinic or urgent care setting.
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
- Proficient in infection control, performance improvement, and delegation principles.
