About the Opportunity
Our client is a prestigious law firm located in Manhattan consistently ranked among the top firms in the world and they are looking to add a Benefits Manager to their team. This person will be responsible for understanding and implementing strategies for the Benefits department. The firm offers a hybrid schedule as well as many other great benefits and will be a perfect fit for someone with an analytical and collaborative mindset who is dedicated to producing quality work.
The annual base salary range is $135,000 to $165,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive benefits programs grounded in competitive practice and operational excellence that support attracting and retaining a talented and engaged workforce
- Partner with Finance on the benefits budget and forecast
- Evaluate administrative costs and pricing of benefits and recommend strategies to provide competitive and cost-effective offerings
- Lead contract negotiations and renewals with vendors
- Develop compelling communication plans and programs to ensure employees have a clear understanding of the company’s benefits and wellness offerings and drive participation and awareness
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Benefits management experience
- Law firm experience is a plus, professional services experience is required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Skilled collaborator, managing partnerships with vendors, internal stakeholders and outside consultants to achieve results
- Extraordinary verbal and written communication skills
