About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a skilled and passionate Dermatologist to join their team of dedicated healthcare professionals in multiple locations: Northern NJ, NYC, Long Island and CT. The successful candidate will provide expert dermatological care to patients, diagnose, and treat a variety of skin conditions, and contribute to the overall well-being and satisfaction of their patient population.
The annual base salary range is $350,000 to $420,000. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients to diagnose various skin conditions, disorders, and diseases
- Utilize diagnostic tools and tests, such as biopsies, to accurately diagnose skin conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic interventions
- Perform surgical procedures, such as excisions, laser treatments, and cosmetic procedures as required
- Conduct routine skin cancer screenings and assessments
- Manage and treat skin cancer cases, coordinating with oncologists and other specialists when necessary
- Educate patients on proper skincare, preventive measures, and lifestyle choices to promote skin health
- Provide clear and comprehensive information regarding treatment plans, potential side effects, and post-treatment care
- Offer cosmetic dermatology services, including Botox, fillers, chemical peels, and other aesthetic treatments
- Collaborate with patients to achieve their aesthetic goals while maintaining the highest standards of safety and ethical practice
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records, documenting patient assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in dermatology through ongoing professional development and participation in relevant conferences and training
Job Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Dermatology
- State licensure as a Dermatologist
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating a broad range of dermatological conditions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to providing patient-centered, compassionate care
